| I promised David, my ex-husband, I would continue editing images, text and audio for this project and I hope to finish in 2007. On December 21, 2002, he was walking on the sidewalk when 2 cars collided at an intersection in Marine Park, Brooklyn. One sped onto the sidewalk, hitting him. His leg was amputated 4 inches above the knee. We were both 32 years old. I took care of my then-husband, from wheelchair to crutches to prosthetic leg. Then, he chose another path in life.
